Delighted to let you know that Daithí Gormley’s CD arrived one day after despatch. Spent some time perusing the Copperplate website and found it very interesting. I have taken a look at the Mail Order sheet and I particularly like how young musicians are being promoted. Postage and packaging is very competitive.

A word of advice – if you are looking for an Irish trad album – check out Copperplate first. The service is absolutely first rate with albums arriving within a short few days of ordering. Finally – and importantly – always listen to Alan’s weekly podcast of Irish trad music, where he plays about 90 minutes of mighty fine Irish music elegantly selected – much of the music Alan has the albums for sale. Oh, by the way, Pride of the West by Johns Wynne and McEvoy is a truly great album … well worth a listen if you appreciate music at a nice pace with subtle accompaniment that doesn’t attempt to hog from the melody instruments. Love it!
